Default Coices on 04 S HELP!!!

Should I buy an 04 Suzuka S from my local dealer that they r going to trade for with 10.3 miles on it or should I drive 2 hours to another dealer and get one that has 5 miles on it. Both quoted me $32,000 plus dealer cost on options. I would just like to stay in good graces with my local honda dealer for warranty work etc. What should I do???

The only reason I could driving 2 hours to get the one with 5 miles is so that it will have more mileage on it when you get home and be closer to break in. Or, you could buy the one with 10.3 and drive it for 1 hour 50 minutes and be in the same position. Of course you'll have to calculate in your fuel costs to drive the two hours just to get the other one.

However the first 20 miles of and S2K's life are extremely crucial to an S2k's break-in period and how strong the car will be!

You're being a little crazy with this one. 5 vs. 10 is negligible. Most of the cars arrive at the dealership with just under 10 miles on the odometer. I doubt the one with 10.3 has even been on a test drive.

Also, don't worry about staying in good graces with your local dealership.

1. Sales and Service are two very different departments. They have no idea what one or the other has done, and they rarely care.

2. Being in their good graces is not likely to net you much anyway. You are still likely going to have to fight for any sizeable warrenty claim.
