so do u think megan is good enough for street use? does it offer as low of a drop as the tein's?
I heard their is a street version and a track version. I haven't done too much research on this yet, but when the time comes, I'm definitely going with Megan. I've talked to a few people with their coilover setup and they said that for the money, you can't beat it.

I would go for the Bilstein PSS9s, by far the best setup in that group if you want to track the car, although the T1Rs are nice as well.

I would stay away from Tein Flex if you're going to slam it, they have very stiff springs but very poor shocks and if you drop it too much they will go out extremely quickly, I've seen them go out in 20k miles multiple times!

i have the KSport, lo cost. you can have them rebuilt in the us these days. i think there are 2 stage setup's as well.

long story short is they went in ok, i lowered the car 1". for the ksport i think this is max. the s2k is somewhat sensitive to adjustment. in order to get what you want you will have to spend some time playing with the alignment. test the feel of the adjustment and re do as necessary. the oem suspension is difficult to beat and for street usage (if your s2k is lo millage) just get springs. you can really phuck up a suspension and its difficult to get back.

if you lower the car your options for adjustment become fewer. additional hardware to facilitate continued adjustment is available but looks way expensive for what you get

a friend sold me the ksport for $500+ new and i know i could get them to work. dont have the time as yet. i got them for the car because it has 70,000 miles on the oem setup. i was thinking they would just bolt up but not. i am kinda finicky on how the car handles.

I have the Buddy Club N+ on my car right now. With any coilover you can drop them from undrivable low to stock (mine are set about an inch below stock). I picked them because they offer the softest spring rate on an inexpensive coilover. I don't track my car so I have no need for the Tein's super stiff spring rate. If you plan on using the coilover just on the street (which judging by you posts yor probably not going to the track)the Buddy Clubs get my vote. If you do plan on going to the track though the Bilsteins are going to be the best bet.

what ever coil over you get there are different springs for them as the case for the ksport. again another adjustment to consider. the ksport is stiff but still acceptable for me. keeps the wife away from the car.

i feel i have the dampening set mid range.

ive got the megans and i love them. ive had teins, tanabes, and stances on various different cars and i have no complaints at all with the megan. they ride nice and adjust easily and properly like they should. and ya like someone else said i can sit my car on the ground so i wouldnt even be able to drive it if i wanted. any coilover will go super low.

imho i think the buddy club n+ are the best bang for your buck, a quality coilover for under $1000
