Coilover Options
i have been researching the megan a little bit more and it looks like a really well built kit. i just hear people talking bs about them because there not a exspensive name like tein or bilstein. i really want to know the difference between the track an street ones? i guess one has an adjustable plate on top? also the buddy clubs that are in my price range are N+ and not the racing spec ones. I am sure the better of the 2 is the racing spec ones?
Ohlins are great shocks - but they do come at a premium and about 90% of owners here do not use their coilovers to their full potential. I personally use Megan Racing Track coilovers and I love them. They are adjustable to a ride almost as soft as stock to a bone jarring track ride.
Lets put it this way, any of the coilovers mentioned here will get you off to the right foot, but it depends on what you want to pay.

Why dont people like ohlins? Are they shitty coilovers? I plan on getting a set of used ones from a freind of mine for a awesome price!
If you're not concerned about performance I would just go with the cheapest set from your list. You'll be able to "slam" your car with all of them although the bilsteins may limit you a bit, but they'll still go low. All will be considerably stiffer than your current espelir setup. Bilstein will probably be the smoothest riding..... the Megan and BC dampers will probably wear poorer than the others and result in a harsh, bumpy ride over time. Tein is quality seems to lack consistency. T1R and bilstein are definitely a cut above the rest as reflected in their price.

Has anyone had any experience with Function and Form coilovers. I was reading some really good stuff about them but nothing in person. Anyone? Here is a link to their site. http://www.f2autolife.com/storefront/index.php
