what is the negative aspect of using the stock pillowball mounts?

aftermarket pillow mounts use spherical bearings and possibly camber adjustment to keep suspension geometry close to stock specs when lowering.

perhaps you were making a general statement, but just to be clear, theres no camber adjustment at the top hat with our suspension. only with macpherson struts.
