My statement is based on 5 years and 175+ days monitoring this board and the ownership of 2 S2000s both AP1 and AP2. The overall consensus is that dramatically lowering an s2000 (dropping) will negatively effect the handling of the car. Read the competition forum for more details. I would not call this 100% untrue. Many of the hardcore racers on this forum are running lowered cars but they also have different A-arms installed to correct the suspension geometry changes made by lowering.

More advice on lowering from those who really know the S2000 suspension here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=429897
yes, obviously if you slam the hell out of your car without properly compensating for adjustment in geometry, your suspension dynamic could be changed in a negative manner. but you can not simply make such a brazenly broad statement such as "lowering will ruin your cars handling" because it simply isn't true...it simply isn't that simple.

I have Tein RA's. I love them. Tein isn't garbage.

That's my opinion!

yeah. the RA's are decent... just so happens most TEIN's are steel bodied with garbage springs, crap.
