When I put a PRM intake on my '09 fit it added about 3-4 mpg. However, the stock intake is already relatively free of restriction, so an aftermarket probably wouldn't make the same amount of difference with the S2000.

Still, theres no denying they sound way cooler.

Just got done installing my fujita about 20 mins ago. MPG has gone down due to awesome wot sound. Paired with the invidia cat back makes the S even more fun to drive, so driving more and driving faster is going to cost some fuel.

Awesome WOT>MPG

for me, a 1-2 mpg gain is pretty impressive for only changing one simple part. I guess having the possibilty of better mileage for cruising makes the hypermiler part of me happy.

how long would it take to make up $275 at 1 mpg (maybe) though? if youre trying to gain 1 mpg it would probably be more efficient to lose a few lbs, not fill your tank to capacity, or make sure you only drive when you have a tail wind... the cai isnt really worth the potential slight increase in mpg imho.

i do love having mine, but im not gonna pretend i did it for a more fuel efficient car.

At 4$ a gallon,10000 mile a year,1 mpg gain, roughly 43$ a year saved.

83$ a year at a 2 mpg gain.

*Does not take into account change in WOT time.
