Cold engine rev limit?
Ok i just got off work and one of my manager wanted to take a spin with me in my S... So i took her off in first gear... and hit around 7000rpm and it wouldn't let me rev it up ne more... Is it because the engine is cold? or something? because i rev it as soon as i backed out...i think i hit vtec already also..
it's just another Honda bit of genius, keeping the engine safe when we're all bein dumb
Honestly tho, it scared the crap outta me the one time it happened....i thought i had popped outta gear or something until i realized i just had no patience for the thing to just warm up a bit

ok. since you two love your cars so much, let's have a little experiment.
tomorrow morning, when you wake up, turn off the alarm and instantly jump out of bed. then throw on your running shoes, and go into a DEAD SPRINT. right out the door. GO!!
yeah. it's like that. so many people make this mistake, and it begs the question ... why isn't common sense so common? you got good taste in cars going for you though so i can't get on you too much.
