Colgan visit
I stopped over at Colgan in Fountain Valley this noon and they replaced my bra with the newer design. They were really nice folks and installed the bra so that I could see if there were any tricks to installation. Really was pretty much what I had done before. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures, but the installer started with the bottom and hooked the center top hook, the two inside plastic flat pieces and then the fenders. He fussed a little with the alignment between the hood piece and the bottom, and it all came out looking good.
I asked about the version for the front spoiler and I was told they still haven't had access to an S2000 with a spoiler, so haven't done one yet.
I'll see how tightly it fits after a couple of months, but so far it looks pretty good. They said the changes were minor, but they removed some material.

I'm 6' and with the old bra, only the passenger side seemed to lift so I couldn't see it while driving. However, it was obvious when stopped that it was balooning. This bra appears to be much tighter over the lights. . . .we'll see.
For those of you who don't know, I fixed the lifting problem by sewing a piece of elastic around the perimeter of the opening for each headlight. You have to stretch the elastic before you sew it on so that in its normal shelf state each headlight opening on the colgan bra is shrunk (similar to a pair of pants with a elastic waist band). The elastic is black so it is virtually impossible to see that it is on the bra. You put it on and the Colgan bra is very tight around the light.
Tested to 85mph and no lift. The lifting will indirectly correspond to how much you stretch the elastic b/4 you sew it on.

Seems like all they would have to do is use a plastic like the rear window is made from and COVER the the hole for the headlights!
That would stop the air from ever getting under the area above the lights and solve the lifting problem forever.
Once I heard about the flapping problem, I bought Stongard for my S2000.
