Default Collision repair problem - need help

I was able to look in on the ongoing repairs on my car today, and they are going fairly well, and will finish about Thursday next week.... with an exception, and I thought maybe this group can help. In addition to exhaust repairs, and replacement of the panel to which the bumper bar attaches, a new trunk well panel has been welded in place. The body shop has covered the underside with generic black undercoat. As you can see in the picture, the original undercoat on my car appears to be predomoinantly a light grey, with a bit of subtle overspray or mixing of the New Formula Red body color. Advanced Auto Body is willing to do whatever they can to make the underside look as close to original as possible, including mixing up some more or less matching gray to spray over portions of the black goo. They are even willing to call in a rep from the local Honda dealer who sold me the car, to see what they suggest. Personally, I trust the opinions of the s2ki guys a bit more.
While I will try to see if Hilton Head Island Honda has any s2k's in stock [they most likely do not], I will have to count on a few of my s2ki colleagues to bend down and look under their cars, since I have no personal acquaintances who are S2000 owners.
I would like to know, especially for New Formula Red, what color the undercoat is, and whether there is other intermingled body color. Advanced Auto Body has been honest enough to admit that there is no way for them to exactly duplicate a specialized Honda factory process so that the undercarriage is indistinguishable from showroom new.
After any accident, no matter how expertly the car has been repaired, it is hard to make it look like it has never suffered damage, which often translates into diminished value in a trade or sale. Advanced Auto Body will put the car up on a lift when all else is finished, and we will look at the underbody together and try to figure out the 'best' way to color it. Whatever you guys out there can advise, based on what you seen under your rear bumper, will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Can anyone predict the likelihood that a fine insurance company like Allstate will agree that there is diminished value which can never be restored, and that I consequently deserve a check for $3000 or thereabouts?

Do you have pictures of the damage before repair to show the extent of it to a future buyer? Might be important.
