Default Collisions and repair

Only 7,500 miles on my '04 and some jack@ss runs a red light and takes out my rear bumper , luckily he just missed my left rear wheel!

Just got it back from the body shop ($3,300) and the interior smells like they left a can of paint in it the entire 2 1/2 weeks it was in the shop. Any idea how to get rid of the paint smell?

well, for what it's worth $3300 sounds like cosmetic damage and your car should drive as good as new

The smell will go away after a couple of weeks...

As others have suggested, leave the top down or windows cracked open a little when you park.

The paint smell goes away with time, thankfully.

And don't feel too bad - just got MY04 back after 10 weeks in the body shop! Like you, some jackass rear ended me. What made mine so bad was that he sent me up on a curb where I took out a traffic signal! 11k later, and believe it or not, drives and looks as good as new )

You can light a candle to get ride of the smell faster. Just be careful.
