Go for the white! I have a black/red but if I could go back and do it again I would of took the white one instead. I don't know what your intentions are with the car, but the slightest bit of clear lens work and possibly white wheels make the car look incredible. Check out Funsdead's car. It is cleanest S2000 here IMO.
Good Luck, it is a great car in any color.

I think the black is easier to maintain, also does not show dirt as much.

Black is by far the hardest color to maintain and will show every spec of dirt and dust. But the look of a clean, polished black car is hard to beat.
So go for the white on red.

Black is by far the hardest to keep clean PERIOD. Had red, black and white cars prior (not s2k's) and now a black on black s2k. Hard to keep clean but nothing meaner looking than one of these beasts shined up on a cool night. White with red is "unique" as said, have to agree. If you get the black keep it garaged/covered as much as possible, wax often, wash more often, use soft water always to help reduce scratches. You get them on every car but the black will show them the most in certain light. ENJOY!!!!
Nahhhhh.... I have a black/black car now (not an S2000), and it's not that bad to keep clean, unless you're anal about keeping it looking perfect all the time. I may wash my car once a week and it stays clean.
I never did like white, no offense to all the white owners, but I've always seen women drive white cars. Go for the black on black, it makes the car look sweet at night.
