Thumbs up Color Options

I noticed in other countries they have different color combinations concerning the exterior and interior. For instance, in Germany, they offer Berlina Black with a black interior or a red & black interior. Will they offer that combo in the states next year? Anyone know?

I doubt they'll offer it, but I guess anything is possible.

However, you could always get interior pieces reupholstered to have a red/black interior that way.

I think if you talked to the right area manager or dealer, you may be able to order a new S from the factory with a custom-order interior, but you'd probably have to pay full msrp. I know people who've gotten build-to-order interiors in their otherwise standard cars this way.

when I lived in the UK and I bought my S I was looking for color options. They had just bought out the Monte Carlo Blue which I HAD to have....it was the same time that they launched the Suzuka blue over here. I seriously looked into getting the blue interior, blue soft top on the MCB body. My dealer called Honda UK who called Honda Japan and they were prepared to offer it from the factory custom....the only downside was that I would have to pay MSRP and wait 8 months for the allocation.

needless to say I went with the MCB and black interior!

You can get ahold of any interior parts in any OEM color, RELATIVELY easily (and completely legally for those with naughty thoughts.)

The black was offered with the all red interior in 2002, and I THINK the red/black in '00 and '01. So they MIGHT bring it back.

My car came with the all-black interior. I wanted red/black. So I made it happen. I bought red seats, and sold my black ones to help offset the costs. I found someone with the all-red interior willing to trade door panel inserts, etc. It can be done.
