Talking Color war

I've been thinking about re-painting my car(I started complaining about the blackpaint...). My friends say get it in Hot pink, bright orange, yellow, white, silver, tan, god too many suggestions from them.

What color does the S2k look best in besides the usual Black, White, Silver?

MonteCarlo Blue.

Or Imola Orange.

Or GPW....

But wait you have an '04? I wouldn't repaint it unless you HAVE to. Factory paint is usually way better than what you'll get done. If you want to sell it might be harder because people will assume the worse. If you want it done properly everything should be stripped and everything painted not just the outside.

no no kids.. thats ignorant. thats just ignorant.

i thought u were down chicka. i thought u knew that berlina owners got it going on. stay with the darkness fasho.

if u must brush it get something exciting like some tangerine paint with gold flake.. a worthwhile paint job costs $ tho u know.. if u have been watching too much tv and ur just excited about the $200 ambassador paint service from midas your s2k should be taken away from you.

don't be wishy-washy

Why? Unless your paint is truly ed up or you're planning to dump thousands upon thousands into the car and turn it into a show car, a good paint job is just too expensive to warrant the cost.

Yes, this is just my opinion, but that money could buy a LOT of other mods for the car, other nice things for yourself, or could make a decent dent in a down payment for a second vehicle.

Hey Hottie, no offense but you have been posting that you pretty much want to do everything under the sun to your S here lately (Full CF/paint/lambo doors/lighting/etc). Do you have a fat pocket book or are you just trying to think of what to do first? I'm just curious because it sounds like you have a bad itch to get your car in a magazine really fast. Not that it's bad, I just want to know where you're coming from.

Or is it that maybe b/c you got all that attention from the horn dogs here about being a girl that works on cars to begin with, you want to go all out and prove the naysayers wrong about every mod possible?

Yea if it is just to build a car b/c your a lady or to pump a show car out fast then that honestly not the way to do it. However, if your looking for a good first thing to do then ask all you want but the people on this forum are very specific and are generally single minded as to what an SA2000 should look like or what can be done to it. Honestly I myself prefer simple colors like blue or silver and i tend to dislike "rice" because it gives the car a cheap feel and i tend to stay away from things that make cars stand out from a crowd. If I was made of money and if was out of college then I would build something that would attract true automotive enthusiasts not 16 year old kids. Mind you this is just my 2 cents but most of the people on this forum, from my observations, like the clean look and have no sympathy for rice.
