Since I can'yet post a poll, I would like to know if you had to choose between the silver/red, or the yellow/black s2k which one would you prefer and why?

I would go with the yellow...silver looks dull under less than ideal conditions.

And that pink carpet...

What about red? Have you considered red?!?

Thanks GS. I actually put a bid on a red s2k on ebay yesterday. Red is certainly an option. I think I might grow tired of yellow after a couple of years. Does the black interior really look better than the red interior? I have yet to see a red interior in person, but it sure looks good in the Honda brochure.

I think the door panels and seats look good in red, but I have been a pretty outspoken critic of that crap punk ass carpet Honda put in the S2000. Both the black and red carpet quality is as I saw someone post "sub-Yugo" quality...and the red carpet, IMO, just doesn't match the other red in the car.

I'm sure the addition of Rick's console cover would help, but man, that carpet is just plain scary!

Good luck on the red...I love mine!

Greg,
We've been over this so many times it hurts. The official Honda marketing color of the S2000 is Silver/Black....wonder why?.

Hey look the S2000 Book is here and they forgot all but Silver and Red?....Wonder Why? Most of the interiors featured are Black...wonder why?

P.S. Red looks dull to if you don't wash it

Ahhh...red is too boring! Everybody and their brother have a red sports car. How cliche! Get yourself a nice classic silver bullet! The red interior is not pink and is just as nice in person as in the brochure. I agree you do need Rick's console cover but you'd get it anyway. Yellow is sweet but cops would be pulling you over every 10 minutes in my opinion. As far as red carpet looking like it's pink, the Red exterior after a couple of years is going to fade to a nice pink. So, would you rather have an interior tht you can cover with a console cover or repaint an already overplayed red? Just my opinion. Either way really the car is sweet!

Official? Under whose office? I know that all the promotional material here on S2000's featured the Silver/Red. Maybe AHM prefer Silver/Black, but that doesn't mean we can't make our own decisions.

When I was choosing my S I thought the red interior was a bit outlandish. Then I noticed the car was a bit outlandish and figured in for a penny, in for a pound.

I love the look of my interior, and no amount of official gumpf from Honda is going to change my mind.

William...the car definitely looks good. I suppose to each his own. After all the car could be purple with pink polka dots and it would still have all the wonderful attributes that we all have grown to love about this car.

Hi there,

The yellow is such a bright primary color, I can't possibly imagine anyone growing tired of it really... Nothing against the other colors though; the S2000 looks good in ANY color of course

However, if there was a bright green, I would have taken that instead, without any hesitation!
