I'd love nothing more than to knife you to death or pop your skull with my Desert Eagle .50
Of course I'm talking about CounterStrike! If you weren't aware, S2KI has a CounterStrike clan and a dedicated 24/7 server to play on. Don't know what the hell I'm talking about?
CounterStrike is the most popular multiplayer, first person game even invented. It's been around for years and keeps growing. CounterStrike is a freely available add-on to a commercial game called Half-life from Sierra. Go buy the $30 full Half-life game at your favorite software retailer and get it installed. Then go to www.counter-strike.net and download the latest version and install it. Double-click the Counter-strike icon on your desktop and select Play Online. Click the Add IP option and enter "cs.s2ki.com". You should see it pop-up in the list. Double-click it and you're connected! The server supports 16 players at a time, 8 a side.
CounterStrike pits two teams against each other, Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists. There are a number of maps that you play each with their own characteristics. Some maps are bombing maps where the Terrorist team has to plant a bomb at a bomb site. Other maps are hostage rescue maps where the Counter-terrorists have to rescue hostages guarded by the Terrorist team. There are a wide variety of weapons to choose from depending on your cash flow and your team.
As a clan, we are trying to practice our skills as a team and then go out and compete against other clans. We would love to have you get involved and have some fun with us. We practice Tuesdays at 6PM PST and once we get a solid team together we'll go out and take on the world! Player and clan stats are online at http://cs.s2ki.com. Just point your browser there to see how you are doing. Also take a look at the Online Games forum where we chit chat.
