That car will never be "$22,000 - $25,000". Pipe dreams.

Looks sweet to me - like a baby NSX. I hope they never bring back the S2000 b/c that would hurt my resale value. Then again, buying a brand new S2000 that looked like a baby NSX might make me forget all about resale value. haha

The same way it hurt the Allroad lol.

The S2000 won't be hurt. If the new one has a computers, electric motors and what not, I wouldn't even bother thinking of the car. You buy an S2000 because it's pretty raw compared to everything else.

It just might be better than the old S2000. The new Civic Type R (although super ugly in appearance), handles and performs quite well and also has a nice engine. If that engine, handling and performance is going to make its' way inside the upcoming S2000 successor, then you can be darn tootin' it'll be better. It might even be better than a Cayman, Elise/Exige and 4C. It may even look similar or better than those European MR cars too.
