Default Competition clutch questions

My friend has an 01 with 61k miles and he needs a new clutch, he wants to know if the Competition stage 2 is a good clutch and if its too hard on the diff? Also he also wants to know if he should go with a lighter flywheel or stay oem

No problem..
Sanmarinocpe is the one that has the package (he has several GBs going right now), and Ganley Honda is the one that did the gears and clutch installation. PM him if you need any more information.

i have the stage 2 and i already think its overkill... i am running a comptech supercharger on stock boost, but I finally realized that a full setup (clutch, PP, flywheel) is a bit too much for my DD'ing.. normally, on an OEM clutch (or stage 1 for that matter) allows you to gently ride the clutch when slowly inching the car into a parking spot, but this clutch just wants you to fully engage the clutch and not ride it.. when I attempt to ride the clutch a little bit while getting into a parking spot, or into my garage, you can hear the clutch just grinding down and the smell is just awful..

What do you mean exactly by not letting you ride the clutch even for a little bit? Are you still in break in period?

don't beleive so.. ive had the clutch on for almost/about 500 miles or so. when i say it doesnt want u to ride the clutch a little bit, i am saying that if you roll forward or try to ease backwards, you hear the clutch being burnt and you can definitely smell it.. its like, you are either on the clutch or off the clutch, no in betweens or else it burns like a mofo.
