WTF is up with honda of Ft. Myers . I am planning on buying either a G35 sc 350z or S200 come May or June. Anyway, I went into the Honda place today and the only 04' S2000 they had was selling for $40,000. This is really turning me away from the S200 as I know one could get it for a whole lot cheaper outside the state or in a larger city. If any of you guys can give me some suggestions on what to do to lower the price, I would be most appreciative. Thankyou in advance.

Dan.

If not already done, you should also post for advice on the two Florida regional forums!

Up here in the north, this is a great time to bargain for a deal @ MSRP or less, but you suffer from too much

To get a reasonable price on an S, you *may* have to buy a bit farther north....and be willing to fly there to pick it up. Many ppl have done this... Good luck in the search...it's worth it...but not at $40k

Call Willy Figueredo at Braman Honda in West Palm Beach. Tell him Ken, the guy who bought the '03 GP White S2000 from him told you to call. Tell him you want an S for as low as he can go. I know they have a nice silver one there now. The numbers are:
Main, 561.966-5000
Direct, 561.966-5011
Cell, 561.212.0404

I would guess 40K is not what that car will sell for. If you're serious about buying, you should get it well below that. Did you dicker with them or was that just the price on the window?

You do not have to go to the snow belt to buy a reasonably priced S. In Texas you can pick one up easily for well below MSRP and I am sure you can get a good price somewhere in FL as well. By the time you are ready to buy next year you should be able to get a very good deal.

It should be easy to get an '04 for $31k, possibly less. In Chicago, they're selling for around $30.5k, but it's still really nice convertible weather down here (actually, it's the best time of year for convertibles in south Florida! That includes delivery, but not tax, tag & title. If you can't manage that over on the Gulf, drive 2.5 hours over here and we can set you up. One of our South Florida forum members works at Braman Honda and they have some great deals right now.
