Completely humbled by my s2000
The AP1's are difficult to drive. Much more difficult than the average car. No rear control what so ever.
I have owned an AP1 and AP2 and the AP2, although better, still is not that great either.
This is one of the great flaws of the S2000.

I have a feeling you will need an allignment now, but that's ok just get the Europe specs. Anytime a little car like the a goes up Andover a curb can,t be good.
Tire pressure, different tread depths between tires, bad alignment previous to the accident, one tire hit a sewer/crack/pothole (and slipped somehow). Any of Those thing could havecaused that.

I have owned several c4 corvettes and fc rx7's before buying my 02 ap1. I used to autox them regularly so I feel like my driving ability is pretty good. Anyhow a lady owned my car before I bought it and she did all of the maintanence to it and took great care of it but for whatever reason decided to mismatch tires. When I arrived to drive the car it had a bfg on the left rear about half worn and a brand new good year all season on the right rear. I test drove the car and it was so squirrely that I nearly lost it just trying to accelerate onto the highway. I bought the car, drove it about 100 miles home and kept thinking, man this car is flighty and twitchy. When I got home I checked the air in the tires and the worn bfg had 20 psi in it and the new goodyear had 48psi in it. Needless to say I just opted for new wheels and tires and with proper rubber and proper air pressure, the car was a different animal. I can still be stupid with the car but it is alot more secure now especially on choppy pavement. Hopefully your air pressure is just off or you hit some odd pavement or something. -Karson

I see you're local. You should come to some of the Mid-A meets!

Really amazed, i drove the car in today and it drove like it was brand new - i'm interested to see what the underside looks like when they are doing the alignment.
