I'm most surprised by the sub-20 y/o crowd complimenting the car. I guess it's become somewhat iconic and internet culture has exposed them to it. It took me off guard the first time some teenager on a bike said "Nice S2000" to me.

Yea, it's one thing for kids to watch a loud car go by. I'm most surprised that kids who were either barely or weren't born at all when the last one rolled off the production line can actually identify what it is immediately.
All the time. Actually, I get a ton of compliments from other S2000 owners, too.
Kids love it. And if anyone here doesn't think the S has developed a cult following, you've been living under a rock. Kids fetishize these cars for some reason, and don't seem to understand Hondas built in the late '90s and early '00s were super soft.
Yep I get lots of compliments on my S2K - when I stopped to take this pic at sunset I saw two twentyish looking dudes stop dead in their tracks to take pics of my car instead of the sunset
I've owned 5 S2000's in my lifetime, sadly, I sold my last s2000, a 2006 Berlina Black, 3 years ago. Every time I see one, my wife and I always stare wistfully. It's a classic and someday we will be back
