Giampiero, Is this the same filter you are planning on using in your CAI?
Any news when the CAI is going to be available?
Thanks

Funcar;this filter will be a replacement for the stock filter.
The same material,different shape,will be used in the new CAI.It will be ready for sale sometime in February.
More news soon.

Giampiero-
Regarding the cold-air intake for the S2K. I am very interested in replacing the stock filter, but if I can jump up to a cold-air system I would rather do that. What type of ball park price are we looking at? Also, will it require the amount of modification that the Mugen intake requires? I'm not much for cutting under the hood.

1Y2KS2K; Super Competition.
Kcopp;Our CAI will not require any modifications to the hood;after various experiments was chosen a different "route";
I cannot tell you now which one.
Two version will be available,one in carbon fiber and one in fiberglass or plastic,depending on results of actual testing.
Carbon fiber version will retail around $600/700.00 MAX.,the other version much less but at the moment I am not able to give you an estimate price.

Silver Bullet & cdelena,

I just ordered one. Does the filter come with oil? Or do you have to buy some somewhere?

Thanks,
