I don't think I have to worry about needing a replacement mounting bracket. What I'm worried about is procuring an ESM to complete my kit. I'm worried now that AEM EMS might no longer be a long term 'option'.
Even if nobody ends up carrying on the Comptech products under a different name, there is at least one alternative product out there. Brian Z's SmartMAP (http://www.zublin.com/) is the one I'm aware of. The SmartMap and Comptech's ESM are both voltage clamps. Main difference is the ESM is adjustable so it could be used on other makes of cars (which you don't need).

If the SmartMAP product was to disappear overnight and a similar product could not be found (not likely) the low-tech option (check valve + restrictor) would still likely be an option for you. In my experience with an early CTSC NSX the low-tech solution works just fine (unless you put them in the wrong order on the MAP sensor vacuum line), though "one of these days" I'm going to upgrade to a voltage clamp solution as such should be slightly better.

Sounds like vortech will become a monoply for S2000 superchargers
Vortech will have company. Looks like SOT are almost ready with their S2K positive displacement blower kit - and PD blower is quite better choice over the centrifugals ...

This is a pic from yesterday from some car which is not even at SOT:

While the loss of Comptech is a sad one in the Honda community, I take solace in the fact that another big name in tuning has stepped its game up in support of the S2k.

Greddy recently built an 06 AP2 showing on their new "Total Tune Up" line of products for the S2k. They plan to carry this full range of products for both AP1 and AP2 models. Among these products is a 50 state smog legal bolt on turbo kit. I, for one, am very interested...

Comptech had the best customer service of any company I've ever dealt with . . .
I've had the pleasure of doing business with one other company that matched (or exceeded) the support Comptech provided; Interestingly, they went broke too.
