Default Comptech CAI and Alarm Horn

I see in the instructions for the Comptech CAI that you have to relocate the Alarm Horn. I have an aftermarket alarm so I assume I can just ditch the factory one. Is this correct, or does it serve any other purpose?

It is the car horn, not the alarm horn.

Honk if you're HORNy... I'd say ditch it if you an aftermarket one- weight savings

The question is are you going to then hook your car horn up to your alarm horn or have no horn? Just relocate it- not that hard.

That's why I was asking, Comptech specifically called it the "Alarm Horn." Glad I asked before just removing it. Why the hell do they refer to it as the Alarm Horn anyway?
