Default Comptech exhaust for AP2

I'm pretty interested in the used comptech in the classifieds section, but would have to modify it to fit my AP2. The thing is, I did some searching on comptech's site, and apparently, the tips are 4'' on their AP2 exhaust vs. the 3.5 for the AP1. It doesn't seem like a lot of people have this exhaust at all so I was wondering if you guys that do or have experienced it in person, can give me some sort of review about what the pros/cons are for it?

i have the comptech exhaust on my MY04. i am very pleased with it - especially the fit and finish!

it has a nice deep tone but is not too loud. there is a little bit of drone at 3000 rpms but after that is just continues to purr all the way up to redline.

i get a lot of compliments on the way it looks and the way it sounds from other drivers. i can post some pics later if that would be of any help.

it's expensive, no doubt...but it's good stuff.

good luck

Just head straight to Comptech's website. They list dyno gains for all their products. That's one of the things I like about them as a company...the ability to back up their claims with empirical evidence.

it's www.comptechusa.com with that said, i think the dyno only showed 3hp gains.......which is definitely better than nothing i guess.
