Default Comptech Exhaust Weight??

Anybody know the weight of a Comptech exhaust. Thinking of buying one but would like to get an idea for shipping? Also how many boxes does this come in? Dimensions?

Drew I might take you up on that in a month or so. Just for the fact of knowing I will get a new exhaust without loosing sleep over its condition on a used and being stuck with it.

I am currently on the fence on purchasing a Harley motorcycle, so not sure if I can purchase any mods yet.
I will let you know. Thanks a bunch!!!

Mine came in one big box. I had the weights at one time, can't find em now, and the weight savings is minimal.

Funny you should ask, paivag. I am in the very same boat, and I took the liberty of e-mailing Comptech in the hopes of getting a response. I did indeed, and here is what it was:

"We haven't weighed a stock exhaust, but ours has a weight of 60lbs. It's probably pretty close to the stock setup, maybe a tad bit lighter. "

So, there you go. I think we all knew it wasn't going to be spectacular. Those are the breaks when you get a stainless dual exhaust. I was a little concerned with the lack of weight savings, but the sound, fit, and quality are second to none. Damn! Why must everything be so compicated! Good luck with the search!

Cant go wrong with Comptech products They make quality stuff, not ricer parts or clear-lights like some of these "performance" companies claim they are. Good luck with it. I wanna hear what it sounds like before buying mine as i dont want anything too loud and disrupting
