Does anyone know how much the Comptech exhaust weighs? Is the Comptech header and After-Cats lighter than the stock components? Thanks.

 

Anything aftermarket for a header and cat-back will be lighter than the stock units. How, much for the Comptech, I can't say. I recall my Toda header shaved off about 10 to 12 lbs. and my Fuji shaved off about 15 to 20.

I have the Comptech header and Spugen.
With the header I save around 10 pounds

 

The comptech cat-back exhaust weighs 22Kg compared to the 27Kg Honda OEM.

I actually emailed Shad @ comptech the very same question before I bought mine. He replied the Comptech system weighs 60lbs compared to the stock 70lbs. Not a huge weight savings, but the sound, performance and looks are hard to beat IMO.

 

Other people on this site have said that they weighed the stock system and it weighed 50lbs

 

Maybe they're talking about the header and cat-back together?
