I recently went through the comptech vs. fujitsubo debate with myself recently. I previously owned an Invidia and an RS*R. I wanted something with a deeper tone and no drone. One day Wortham can over ot my place and he has a comptech is it sounded woderful (very nice in the garage). I eventually decided to go with Fujitsubo because I heard the comptech does have some drone. I ordered mine a little over a month ago, and am still waiting for it to arrive.

For the money you spend, you can't go wrong with Fujitsubo. Mine took about a month to arrive, still love the sound every time i drive the car.

If you would pay 1200 for a comptech, why not get a mugen for 1500?

I have a CompTech on my 04 and I love it.

However, THERE IS A DRONE! It is especially evident at about 3000-3500 rpm in a low gear. The sound, however, is not "fart can" sounding, but rather deep and throaty. If I were younger, I'd say it was not loud enough. My 30+ yo ears think it's a bit too loud...my conclusion...it's PERFECT!

It seems like majority likes the comptech. The drone probably wouldnt bother me since i did own an aftermarket exhaust on my RSX but got pulled over atleast 3 times for the exhaust. Hopefully cops wont pull me over with the comptech since it looks stock.

They wont! Guaranteed. I didnt get pulled over with the Invidia and it is obnoxiously loud!

its all depends on your own taste... all i gotta say is that comptech is a well made exhaust. if you install it yourself, u will definitely notice how well they designed it.
The same can also be said about the Fujitsubo.

I can hear both. But mostly the exhaust just at the start of VTEC and then the engine comes alive.

i have the comptech on my 04 and am pleased with it. it does have a bit of a drone doing 80mph on the interstate, etc - but then again which exhaust doesn't???

here's a crappy pic that shows the tips...from memory they stick out 1.25"-1.5" or so past the bumper...

hope this helps!
