Hey! I am considering installing the comptech header and catback on my 04 and have read what I could find through searching. Problem is there is TOO MUCH info on exhausts here! Hehe. Anyhow, I just wanted to know if anyone knows of a downside to these products?

Also am wondering if installing the comptech ice box will give me any performance gains with this combo. (yes I realize they would be minor)

Lastly if anyone has this setup, how is the sound? Does it get annoying at all? The Racing Beat header on the Miata gave it a subtle deeper growl that was very sweet but never annoying. Other companies headers for the Miatas sometimes caused wierd "pinging" apparently.

Any info appreciated.

The only downside I can think of would be the cost. I would LOVE to get both of those items for mine, but alas, can't.
