Default comptech vs toda header...

i was actually comparing the two, and i'd be able to get a much much better price on the comptech header as opposed to the toda...so far, plus one for the comptech. and i also like the idea that its carb exempt so i dont have to worry about the long arm of the law, plus two...comptech. but as far as gains...how are they really between the two. i know the headers dont really net much of a gain on stock vehicles but net more on vehicles w/ i/h/e and engine management.

so in synopsis...how does the comptech compare to the toda header?

Comptech provides dyno results for all their products in pdf format on their website.

yeah...that i knew. problem is on their site the give a stock graph, a graph w/ the ice box and a competitors header, and thier header w/ the ice box. i was looking for more or less for a direct comparison between headers (not a "?" header vs comptech). probably used some kind of cheap dc header

The Comptech header being a 4-1 design is going to (theoretically) give better gains at top end while the Toda being a 4-2-1 is going to give better gains in the midrange.

As for actualy dyno numbers comparing the two, I've never seen them. One thing that's likely to be better with the Comptech is support. Toda seems to have an "out of sight" warranty with this product and I wouldn't buy it.

The thread you are referring to is Slows2k's broken mounting tab thread, he contacted them and they basically blew him off to TODA Racing
