Hi,

If you had a choice of one which would you take and why?
How about if you could do both, which one would you do first and why?

Just looking for some opinions

i would choose the intake first because you would feel the difference more than the exhaust. most dual exhaust does not give you good power gain, just sounds. even if people say that their "butt dyno" feels faster, the truth is that it might just be .1 second faster.

I like the intake and not the exhaust from Comptech. I think the intake looks better then the exhaust.

I have both the Comptech intake and exhaust. I'd choose the exhaust. Although I can't say it gave me any hp gains it sure makes the car sound like it should.

Power gains aren't huge with either of them, so you can toss that as a criteria.

Another consideration is cost. Intake's cheaper.

Next issue...weight. Exhaust will probably save you more weight over stock than the intake would.

Another is looks. The intake is pretty...but the hood is closed most of the time. The exhaust is polished like a jewel and looks so clean on the S.

Finally...sound. Having done both intakes and exhausts on various cars over the years I've noted that both the intake and the exhaust will distinctly change the sound of the car. If we're talking Comptech stuff, though, I would have to say that I love the sound of their exhaust the most.

All that wrapped up into a conclusion and I'd go exhaust first.

I would get the intake first like I did since it gives you a bit more performance. Then opt for the exhaust, which I have yet to get...

Comptech exhaust nets 1 hp. Looks good though. Spugen is a better bang for the buck exhaust. Go Intake!!
