Default comptech kit

i have a couple of questions about the comptech kit for a 2000 s2k, one do you need any supporting mods for this kit? or any SC for a s2k or is it safe to put on right away?, also is it a paxton novi 1000 sc they are using in the kit?

- thanks

I would strongly recomend a differential and a new clutch. It's not necessary but I still recomend it.

The kit is bolt-on and go if you keep it stock (as in don't use a different pulley). A clutch upgrade is highly recommended.

Aside from a new clutch, if you want to keep it at stock boost (5.5psi) then all I would suggest is to get it on a dyno to double check your A/F's and adjust with the FPR if needed. I really don't think that a new diff is needed unless you plan on dropping the clutch at every stoplight, but if that was the case then with NA power you would need a new one anyway. I'm currently at 350whp and the stock diff has held fine (I never drop the clutch though). Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and also keep in mind that we have a Forced Induction forum with a lot of good info for you to search through.
