What's the difference between a long trip and a short trip. The SC is very durable good for short or long trips and many thousands of trouble free miles.....

Like RT says, no problem...I and another SC'd S2K have done track days then driven 5 hours back home...with no problem at all.

Interesting. I always wondered about this claim. I would think that the engine would run rich because of the lack of FI. Any one care to elaborate?

Fuel Pressure Regulator uses manifold pressure to richen mixture by plugging fuel rail return line. No belt, no SC pumping action, no manifold pressure, no FPR plugging action, viola ...... no mixture issue

BTW, I had the belt off for about a week after Laguna Seca due to busted bracket. No probs, just sssslooooowww

I also have run my SC without the belt for days at a time. It is much quieter and slower....but I don't really notice the power difference until i reconnect the blower. Then it is night and day difference.
