ehh I would say its worth giving the car a look over depending on the price. Just check the rear wheel arches real well and I would worry much about the exhaust I prefer aftermarket ones anyways.

Not sure which screws you're referring to.

Looks like a bonafide rust bucket to me. Be patient and keep looking. I just bought an 03' that had spent all of its 68k miles in a garage in Birmingham, AL....

This is what you want:

UNLESS OF COURSE, They will sell to you for below market.

First impressions of that engine bay are not good man... Considering the year and miles you should definitely be concerned. I guess it could be worth it depending on the price and what you plan to do with it?

I was going to guess an early AP1 driven through the Atlantic Ocean and back, but a 2007 no less?

Please stay away; I'd pay $1-2k+ to not have to deal with any of that!

Basically just looks like a car driven in the wet and never really "cosmetically" cared for.

Engine wise, you can't make any assumptions. If he changed his oil, filter, etc. Chassis wise, there could be lots problems.

If it's a couple thousand below market value, then I'd consider it, 'cause you spend that on future chassis repairs. As long as you don't mind downtime if repairs are needed.

Very impressive! And you don’t even have any peeling on the valve cover.

Thanks. The prior owner was ocd as hell about this car. I am grateful to have found it.

Despite what we all may wish, these aren't rare cars, there's another out there for the same price in better condition.
