Default Concerned about ride quality

I am a new S2000/02 owner and am looking to improve the ride quality for my daily driver without greatly sacrificing my handling. I'm concerned after reviewing the forum that this has not been a big issue for most s2k owners. I really hope this doesn't mean its just my car.

Sorry, but if you wanted ride quality, you should have gotten a Cadillac.

I hate to say this, but it's probably you and not the car. Hell, I went 20% STIFFER on my '02.

You might try slightly lowering your tire pressures or going with some all season type tires - but then you would lose the essence of the car. I love the razor sharp response and agility...

The s2000 feels like a big go cart IMO. I love it for that!

You might want to check to see if they removed the spring spacers before they delivered it to you.

7.1 kg/mm Front

8.0 kg/mm Rear

Slightly lower than stock (15mm) They work nicely with the stock shocks. When my stock shocks are toast, I'll probably step up to some coilovers.

Cool...thanks. I'm working some numbers out to compare cars I'm familar with to the setup I'm looking at for my future Miata.

Dude,

My daily drives are usually 56 M X2. The ride is just about right as is. Check the sping spaces as PAS2KNut advised. If you just can't stand it, I'm sorry. But that's the price you pay for perfomance in small packages.

Never mind the suspension. Just get a turbo and some sticky tires and you're good to go!

Have you seen the guy with the red turbo Miata auto-x? His name is Dieter Beldi. On a tight course that guy is always in the running for top time of the day. Kind of sucks... every time I auto-x, it's pretty much guaranteed that I'm gonna get my a$$ kicked by a Miata...
