It is gradually getting worse everytime I wash my car..Can anyone tell me what would need to be done to fix this problem in some sort of steps...

My advice would be to do the right thing and fix it. Reopen it (use Ricks instructions)......

Take out all the old silicone, clean the headlight (if possible leave overnight on counter to make sure all the hidden condensation evaporates, and reseal it with new silicone.

A fast and cheap solution (only temporary though)

Take out the turn signal bulb, socket, and peel the fender back for a day or two. This will allow the water a way to escape, but it WILL fog up again when you wash the car........

Hope that helps.....

Well considering the money I spent on the car, I'm willing to do things the right way, Where can I find "Ricks" instructions?

Thanks..

Just go to www.ricks2k.com

Click on INSTALLATION on the sidebar, then click on the Diffuser installation instructions.

MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THEM EXACTLY. It is an easy process, but can be easily screwed up if you slip up. Good luck.

Just curious, when you bought it, was it from a dealer that certified it with a warranty?

btw, bro, be careful when you visit rick's site. i've been there many times looking for installation instructions and then ended up spending money like a kid in a candy store.

Joel - depending on how bad a job to begin with and how much adhesive they put back on it can be a major PITA. I just repaired one last Saturday for another member. That headlight was pretty much hacked to death. It took a very long time to get the old adhesive off. So be careful and take your time.
