Default condensation inside the car

i came out to my car this morning and i noticed a lot of condensation all over the inside of the car. I had to wipe it down with a cloth as there were huge water drops all over the windshield and on the front of the convertible top frame where the handle is. I have replaced my top a few months ago however i also upgraded to beefy hardtop strikers so there is a good seal. i also drove it in the rain and i dont have any leaks. any one have any ideas?

btw i live in socal so it doesnt even get that cold in comparison to some of you other guys.

not sure of this is related but the keyless entry on my alarm also stopped working, could it be due to the moisture?

heres a quick picture i took of what it looked like.

thanks for the help

It must be leaking in from somewhere. Is your carpet wet?

+1 on the wet carpet, I'd check under your seats. You may have a leak somewhere along where the top meets the car. If anything you might be able to claim this under insurance if you have comprehensive coverage (check with your agent).

This happened to my 350z after the dealer swapped the motor and it was covered.

Well when i do wash my car, theres usually a single bead of water that runs down the inside of the driverside window. i wouldnt think a leak like that would be enough though, and i didnt notice my carpets being wet, ill have to check it out later. so if it is, what would be my course of action?
thanks for the help guys

Mine does this as well on both windows. Highly doubt it's the cause. I've never seen condensation inside.

alright so this morning there was condensation on the inside of the car again. I checked and the passenger side carpet was wet. I read somewhere that it could be due to using the ac at full blast or something. is there a guide on how to fix this, i wasnt able to find it.

also my keyless entry still doesnt work all the time after this. could it be due to the humidity inside the car that messed with the electronics of it or something.

AC no matter how cold wouldnt do that.
i think you got a leak somewhere.

see where the carpet is wet the most.
look around the top in that area and see if you can find a leak.

my door jams get wet when i wash my car but water never gets inside the car.

yeah that's too much moisture to be from the AC. It rained the day before yesterday - didn't you get rained on?

I don't know of any specific procedures to follow once you find wet carpet on the passenger side - just start checking all the rubber. I had a problem with the drainage in the passenger side window seal, it was plugged and it would squirt water into the car whenever the door was shut, maybe start there...

The moisture in your car now is slowly rotting your interior. You should park in the sun and leave your top down to let the moisture evaporate into the atmosphere instead of into your dashboard and seats.

How's the battery on your keyless remote? Does the trunk work?
