I met Alex at IAS in AC. Our cars were right across from one another(thanks, Ryan ). Sure, he is a little brash, but I think away from all the cameras/lights/Team Emotion, he probably is a decent kid. Although the car was dyno'd at 600+, it isn't tuned for that on a daily basis. One of the TE guys said it was more like 400-something. That's still more than me!

I was not impress with his engine for show purposes. Dirty and rusted parts. I will applaud his trunk setup though! Very nicely done... very nice. And the orange paint definitely grew on me. It has a small amount of gold metallic in it. Not feeling the Spoon front.

Btw, I recall that while his family does have money, he is a pretty damn good hockey player. You know he's gotta be stoked to have the NHL back on the mend.

 

Are you telling us that he was 15 when he got the car?

 

If he wasn't 15, he was 16 and I've got his current age wrong.

 

I stopped posting and contributing bc of the reasons that poindexter said. I was totally turned off from s2ki bc I felt like I had to deffend myself for my mods and were the money came from. First of all it shouldn't matter, but my parents have normal paying everyday jobs I have 2, they have helped me but everything was not just handed everything. Skip I apoligize if i was brash, u can ask anybody that has talked to me that im not as asshole or hate on anybody else cars. I was sideswiped by a bronco on the way home from IAS, the car was fixed in 2 weeks and the shoot happened after the accident. I was 16 when i got the car, im 20 now. I appreciate the props on the cover.

ya, i saw the cover and bought the mag.

it looks pretty sweet man, but i noticed a few small things like the hood fitment, i wasn't sure if it was real or seibon, i know u got seibon sponsorship. but on the cover it looks crooked where it meets your spoon bumper. and the veilside parts that i will never like, but hey, its your car, and the rest of it is .

 

I've seen the car a few times - mostly in pictures and magazines, once personally at an Evolution Meet. Honestly its not my cup of tea. However, I do have alot of respect for Alex as he put his heart into the car and did what he wants to do, not what others wanted him to do.
