Default Considering buying. Is it worth it

Ive seen a 2000 Honda S2000 for sale at a local garage. Its in a strange purple colour that I have never seen anywhere else before. It also has the VGS. Its a jap import but has all the Japanese history and is on its first UK owner. Its in good condition and on around 75,000 miles. They want

Price seems high (roughly $20,000 US?). I think here in the states, a 2000 is closer to $10,000. Check your local used car prices and definitely have the car looked at by a mechanic before you buy it.

Even thought it has a decent amount of service records, I'd have a mechanic you trust look over the whole vehicle.

Even though it has VGS, it's not worth the $20k, if JDR159 did the math right.

Yeah they sell the purple everywhere else but the US. We never get cool colors.
