Thumbs up Considering my first S2000

Hi,

There seems to be plenty of these on the market and I am wondering what all the changes were between the 2003 and 2004 version? I know they stroked the engine to give it more torque, but didn't they soften the suspension as well?

If you want 9K 03 is the year to buy.

If you want easier to drive suspension and new body look get the 04-05.

If you want the updated version with TCS 06+

If you want to use flashpro 06+

Note - over 2000 things were changed from the ap1 to ap2. It's truly a refinement of the original design.

Hey guys, I'm in the same boat as the OP. Coming from an 06 Audi A4. I've read through the FAQs and common problem threads and think I have it narrowed it down to an 05 or 06. Were the 06 changes mainly just engine electronics/monitoring changes though? And what is flashpro? I'll search... My main thing is I would like to throw a few bolt ons until a rebuild is necessary or in the funds and go F/I. I plan on keeping the car for a LONG time and loving it. So far it seems like a solid car with no major concerns or excessive costs, more than I can say for my current B7 A4 lol.

The one that you can get the best price on in the best condition with the lowest mileage.

main difference is 06+ has VSA. there are a number of other changes like DBW but VSA is the most significant one IMHO

02-03 with low miles 9k screams. Drive multiple then decide.
