Considering S2000
Was a Honda fan for quite some time - went thru a number of Honda motorcycles (currently ride BMW though ;-)), have Honda JetSki (turbocharged - thing absolutely rocks), wife loves Element I bought her last year.
Lately I got S2000 bug ;-). What should I look for in used ones ? Is it possible to do better than $24k for low-mileage 2003 this time of year?
Thanks

PS: Why my truck (older Dodge Ramcharger, lifted, with big off-road tires) scares salespeople away? It's not like I'm going to trade it in or something - they just dont make trucks like this anymore.

There was a lengthily post of "Should I buy an S2000", if you still have doubt of getting one. Also, you can search for FAQ or any other info about this car as well, under the hood, and wheels and tires has lots of useful FAQ as well.
The S has a very distinctive personality, most people will find it love or hate situation. I went away and couldn't stand the pain of living without it, it has spoiled me so bad. For cars under $50k, nothing will reward your driving experience like the S.
In the end, it's all up to you and the car after the test drive(s), if this is what you really want!
Good luck hunting, '03 is a good buy. I traded mine in for $24k not even a year ago, 22-23k is a really good buy.

It's a driver's car...definitely not for those who enjoy a quiet, easy, luxurious ride. It's a car that screams at you and is truly race-inspired.
I just recently traded in my 2000 model for a 2002...I couldn't resist the blue color

The S2KI library has some good info on model year differences:
