In all, I have 157 orders to fulfill; 30 black/blacks were shipped on Saturday morning.

I will ship the following Wednesday morning:

20 more black/black
5 black/black perforated (all orders for b/b perforated)
10 red/red (all red/red orders submitted before October 15)
3 red/red perforated (all orders)
1 red/red to Japan (rh drive)
1 red/black to Japan (rh drive)

Townsend ran out of black hides on Friday and is making up some more, so hopefully production will continue apace.

BTW, the first shipment of black/black orders should begin arriving at your homes or places of business tomorrow.

 

What happened to black/red or am I misreading your post?

 

Since Townsend ran out of black hides on Friday or Saturday, nothing with black leather in it will be made until later this week. But I hope to have some black/reds to ship before the weekend. I'll keep posting updates as Townsend leather updates me.

I really do appreciate your acknowledgement of all the work that's gone into this. Everybody has been very patient and I've received many nice notes of thanks. This is a great group of people!

Managing it is a nightmare, though, (thank god for PayPal and MS Outlook) and there are times when I wonder how I stumbled into all of this. For example, tonight I've spent a few hours putting all the orders into chronological order by time of receipt. This so that the people who ordered first get their covers first.

This car has cast a spell on me even before I have it. I wonder if I'll spend any time on this board when it finally does arrive.

I will get only 20 black/black from Townsend tomorrow for shipping on Wednesday (I thought I would be getting 30 when I responded to your earlier message). Since you are 25th in the queue for the black/blacks, I'm afraid yours will not be in the shipment that goes out on Wednesday. Sorry for misleading you. After that shipment goes out, you'll be 5th in line for the next batch of black/blacks.

Rick, Thanks for the update. Could you let me know if my RED/RED if part of the first RED/RED shipping? I can't remember when I order the item.

I guess I am confused, does black/black include black with red stitching? Or does that fall under black/red?
