Default Convertable Top Acting Funny!!!

Since the weather here is so nice, I decided I wanted to drive to work with the top down. So, when I fired up the car, and undid the latches, pushed the roof button and nothing happened. So as I'm beginning to get pissed off, I turn the car off, Then turn the key half way just to turn on the electronics, and it went down just fine. My question is, has this happened to anyone else? could it have just been a short in the motor, or is my convertable motor about to die on me? Any answers would be great!!

Was your parking brake on both times? The top won't go down without the parking brakes applied.

Damn I feel stupid! I knew that! I guess I wasn't thinking. Thanks guys. You can tell I'm a new owner. I even called Honda about it as well. Oh well.

HaHa I did the same thing my first day at a redlight. Then my friend who owns a 2001 said, "Pull up the E-brake dumbass" I felt like such a rookie.

Have you looked in the secret compartment? That's where most people find theirs.
