would that have been covered under warranty? i ask because the guy i bought it from said the warranty he had was transferable, however after the sale was completed, i realized i could not transfer it. j/c as i may hit him up for 1/2 the bill!

www.hardtopguy.com sells them, great guy to buy stuff from  I would go ahead and get the hardtop latches if you can, theyll seal the softtop better and create less wind noise.

hm yeah I confused it with these http://www.hardtopguy.com/store/product.ph...0&cat=92&page=1 but that doesnt come with the latches on the soft top. You could get them here seperately for about 72 bucks plus shipping. Part #61. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...=SOFT+TOP+FRAME

cool i looked @ the hondaautomotiveparts site. i remember i used 2 go there alot a looooong time ago for an old prelude. thanx 4 reminding me of it!

n e way i can get-away w/just replacing part of it? or is that being cheap-o? probably not b/c the plastic cracked.

u think it's a PITA? i am a do-it-urself'er, but i don't want it 2 rain in the car when i am done lol.

Yeah I would just replace the whole part. It shouldnt take more than a couple of minutes. Ive never tried it but how difficult can it be Try it out.

The little plastic piece that essentially keeps the latch held down when folded broke on both my latches too.

Unfortunately you have to buy new latches, and also unfortunately, they're not cheap.

I sorta wish i would've just not bought new ones since i'm rolling either hardtop on, or softop down. But i was tired of dealing with the rattling.
