Default Convertible top cover

When the top is up, where do you store the black flexible cover? Does it fit in the car or do you have to leave it at home?

It folds and can go in the trunk. That's where I've stored mine this winter.

It'll get in your way, though, if you need your trunk space.

Is there any way to fold it into the empty space behind the seats and forward of the trunk, normally occupied by the convertible mechanism in "down-state?"

That I've never tried. Interesting idea.

The cover is a real PITA. I don't use mine much. You can rarely count on the weather here in New England, so my top is up and down frequently, and the cover is just an annoyance. But, the car does look cleaner with it on, I'll admit.

I took mine out of the trunk when I brought the car home and put it up on my shelf in the garage. It has never left that spot since.

Cool, thanks for the info! I went to the Kansas City Auto Show today and sat in their S2000. I'm set on it. But I've got to close on my new house first...then get married...THEN I get the car.

My advise to you, is to get a good used S before you get married.

j-j-j-j-jaded....

FYI, my other half has always been supportive of my roadster "habit." I don't resent too much that I have to throw her the keys once in a while!

My advice is to rent a basement apartment, but have a king size waterbed. Stay single until your hair and teeth fall out (hopefully not due to any nasty bugs picked up in the waterbed). And buy the car!
