Thumbs up Convertible Top Maintenance

Hey everyone!
I've been lurking here for a while reading up on the S2000. This past Wednesday I finally picked up a 2002 Berlina Black S2000 w/ only 6K miles. Its in near perfect condition and I love this car !!

Anyway, I'm new to convertibles and I checked the FAQs but didn't find any information on convertible top maintenance. Does any body have a good link?

Questions include:
Is is hard on the top to open and shut it like 4-6 times per day?
Do I use something other than regular car wash soap to clean it?
Does it need to be treated?
...and any other details I might not have thought of?

Thanks in advance !!

Convertible Top maintenance

Our S2000's have a vinyl top. These product seem to be favored on this forum. I think they're a good place to start.

Good luck & Drive Safe,
