convertible top question to last long
#2
doesnt matter as long as you take care of it...
plexus the window, condition the vinyl and put a mat on the rear deck and a rolled up cloth on the outside (when putting it down)-
woops, just realized that i am assuming you have a plastic window- you didnt say!

This is what you want: Link . When you have put so much on that your glass rear window gets it all over it every time you put the top down, you have put on too much. (I think that happens after coat 4.)
- Your top looks like canvas but is vinyl. (Neither the 303 folks nor most dealers have the right into on this.)
- 303 sells convertible top cleaner but I don't know that it does anything that washing a vinyl top does not do.
- 303 sells kits of convertible top cleaner and either the 303 protectant or the canvas top stuff. Somehow the cost is higher than buying the two products separately.
- 303 is IMO the best protectant out there for vinyl, plastic, or rubber. Leather should be treated with a specialized product, however.
- Look at the forum on cosmetic care for more info.
