Don't do it, you will regret every second of your life after day 1, the sky will turn red and the rivers will begin to flow with rancid beef. Antelope will piss in your coffee cup each morning before you choke down your Cheerios and pickled pigs feet breakfast. George Bush will be elected for a 3rd, 4th and 5th term and Henry Waxman will impregnate your mother.

In reference to kertong's post, I wasn't, and I dont think that most (not all) of us are trying to be un-welcoming. I was simply stating that when I drove an S for the first time, it blew me away, and I knew that I wanted to get one.

This type of car is not like other cars. It's not like "Oh, I need 4 doors and a good sized trunk, so I'll get a Camry". Buying an S2000 is an emotional purchase. No one "needs" an S2000, but people want them. When I think of a car that someone convinces you to buy, I think of a minivan.

If you didn't absolutely want the S the first time you drove it, keep driving other cars until you find the one that calls your name.

To the OP, the reason everyone is acting so hostile to your question is that you are, bluntly, demanding us to sell you on a car that most of us think sells for it self.

So in a way, you're insulting us. I'm sure its not intentional on your part.
I work in sales and when a customer bluntly asks me to sell them on something, I act the same way as people on this forum has.

[QUOTE=zoomkat,Jul 10 2008, 11:52 AM] Sorry, but you can't blame your being stupid on being Chinese. Its something you developed on your own.

I just want to let you guys know that I am Chinese, so my comments aren't prejudice since I am one. I know how Chinese kids think.
Uh. No. Your ethnicity - regardless of what it is - does not clear you of prejudices or qualify you to make stereotypes.

Why buy it? Because she'll fit so nicely in your arms when you walk into your garage and hug her.

f**n troll. I never insulted anyone in this thread. Only you did. YOU are the one that should be banned.

Did I ever resort to name calling? I called someone Chinese and implied that they have rich parents to buy stuff. How is that insulting to anyone?

Why don't you apologize?

BTW, here's a smily face. does that make you feel better?
That's some of the stupidest shit I've ever heard. Not all Chinese families are rich, not every rich Chinese family buys their kids nice cars, and not every Chinese kid takes advantage of their parent's money.

My first car was an audi a4 2003 model too. After I got the s2k (second one now... first one was totalld')... the a4 has just been sitting there untouched.

I used to see porches and stuff (when i was driving my a4) and i would get a bit jealouse but now with the s2k... no cars on the road seem to impress me ANYWHERE as much as it did before.
