I picked one up from Target about a month ago, very cool. Takes about 3 hours to transform and is unnecessarily complex, made out of cheap plastic, but still cool.
Ya my buddies and I were trying to transform it that night w/out the directions. "It's like rubix cube, but without the feeling of satisfaction at the end." We were laughing so hard, we were also pretty drunk.

Thanks for the well wishes!

I don't wan't to ruin the gift for Tyraid2K by showing how much it cost, but go to ebay and search toys for "S2000" and "Overdrive". If you look for a while you might even find the japanese model made of metal.
I don't see Suzuka there

I went to Toys 'R Us earlier today and they had these! They also had corvette, mustang, and jeep liberty transformers.

I have the Japanese Metal one, and aside from it being metal, the engine really is a gun, as the driveshaft is included on that piece, and is about 3.5-4in long... they had it removed from the US models because it was "violent"... bleh... I don't get it...
