Coolest Thing Ever Experienced.....
...for ME that is!!
Its been 4 months since I put my order for a Black/Black S2000, and I finally picked it up tonight!! Wow, Im really "in" the "club" now.
The really cool thing was, I asked the dealer to NOT touch my car the second it came off of the truck. When I got there to pick it up, they didnt touch it/wash it, and they let ME pull off all the shipping plastic!! It was like opening up a BIG X-mas present. Took my girlfriend and I over half an hour to get all that stuff off!! Only 4 miles on the clock when I sat in her. Unfortunately its too late to give her a good wash with the Zymol stuff I just bought (no flames please from the Zaino camp).
Words cannot describe the feeling of owning such a work of art. To this day, I regret not going on the job interview my prof set up in Marysville, OH to possibly become an engineer at Honda. Now I make stupid semiconductors and there is NO "soul" in what I do. But now I can step into my sweet a$$ ride and just enjoy my life for what it is, GREAT!
Thanks for all the advice previsouly given. I was the one who started that thread about "Do you have any regrets", regarding if you actually regretted buying the S2K. Well, no regrets on my part, and my loving GF was with me all the way.
If anyone in Austin TX is out there, I was wondering if you guys/gals ever hang out? It would be cool to meet some owners.
BTW, I dealt with Classic Honda in Round Rock. They were nothing but gracious, and helpful all the way. Gave the car to me at MSRP, and had absolutely no hassles. I miss my 00' Civic Si though (traded in), but Im sure she'll understand.
Laterz!!

man your really lucky, mine had been sitting in the lot for over 6 months when i got it, it had around 90-120 miles( i forget), i can only imagine what the people did on those 120 testdrive miles
Sounds like you got it all straight...congrats, man! Nice job! Great attitude...!
The central Texas whackjobs are very active (I mean that with all the affection I can muster ...
) are a very active bunch and have lots of fun together. Being a displaced Texan of 5 years, I know how you folks like to have a good time. I'll see you down there soon, I get back to Austin as much as possible.
In the meantime, check out

Nice colors BTW!! Welcome!
The Austin group is pretty lame...they don't get together on Mondays or Tuesdays or Wednesdays or Thursdays!!! They only meet up every Friday for Happy Hour, Saturdays for drives in the country and Bar-B-Q and Sundays for some more driving. Rather lame.
If you want to have some real fun, come to Houston on Saturday nights and watch Wes break stuff!! Now *that* is fun!!
Enjoy!

Mark it is 1:57 am, and there is some man with a go-tee standing in front of your computer.
... It might be sombody sneaking around in your office to steal your secret cop files
You had better check into it.
And damn that live web cam thingy is neat.
To the subject:
The austin crew always has a great time.
I would warn you about hanging out with the Houston guys...
you might just end up driving your new car into the ocean
p.s. I won't be here this weekend, but I look forward to meeting you, and your beautiful new car!
later,
John

You had better beef up the security around that place, or else all your top secret files will be stolen!
