Default Cooling plate

The idea seems pretty good. Any thoughts or better yet, does anyone have one of these on an AP2?

Looks like a waste of money. It would probably restrict airflow.

Looks like a nice piece. Probably just adds bling.

That looks like the AUT peice. It doesn't restrict airflow...it guides the air into the stock airbox making a somwhat CAI type effect.

I have this same piece on my car and I bought it from that guy on ebay too! After you get the stock plate out (PITA) you can see where more air can get in through the front of the car. I have the PRM intake on my car and I need as much cool air as I can get in that area. If I look under it I can now see out the front of my car in the corner where the hump is in the cooling plate.

Good seller, fast shipper and the product is really really nice too. I have pics if anyone wants to see it in my car.

I thing I find odd about the ebay page though, if you look at the installation pic of the cars engine, you'll notice some dryer tubing like (yellow) piping in the pasenger side fender well. That is usually to act as a CAI drawing air up from the fender, but then how would that work with the front type cooling plate intake??
